Here are few pointers that need to be considered prior to booking a session with us. We also have listed a few “Frequently Asked Questions” by our prospects and patrons who seek a better understanding of our working style and our terms.

1. I’m ready to book my photo session, what is the next step?

After you’ve decided that you’d like to hire Amrit Ammu Photography for preserving your precious moments, the next step is to settle the advance non-refundable retainer fee which is 50% of the total amount so that we can confirm your session.  We can meet in person for this or I can send you the necessary documents via e-mail.

2. What is the best time to schedule a session for Maternity photoshoot?

The best time to schedule your maternity photo shoot is between 28-32 weeks. The best time to schedule is generally as per your comfort level – whenever you are feel that you have a beautiful belly and you are looking forward to capture those precious moments to freeze in time for your generations to know how proud and happy you felt – that’s the best time!

3. What is the best time to schedule a session for Newborn photoshoot?

The most optimal time to schedule a session for your newborn baby is between 1-14 days after giving birth, because your little one will still be sleepy, tiny and cooperative. However we encourage you to book a session well advance in time as we begin working with you even before your little one arrives. Although babies are unpredictable and not always born on the exact due date as planned, we will still have a general idea so that we can start preparing on our end.

 

4. Do you charge extra for travel on location?

Travel within 20kms radius of our studio is included. However, if we are scheduling your session at a location which is that area range, then additional fees may be added as applicable.

5. What photography products do you offer?

We offer a variety of stunning photography products, ranging from digitals, prints, framed prints, canvas, coffee table books, custom made birth announcements, first birthday invitations and more! Check out our for more.

6. How do we receive our photography deliverables?

We encourage you to pick up the products from our studio as that is the best and the safest way we can handover your precious portraits to you. While we also do postal delivery, but we don’t guarantee of any damage to the print or the digital product device due to rain or any other event, whatsoever during the courier transit. We also do electronic transfers of your digital products, if required.

7. Are the props and costumes included as part of the package?

All the props used in the photoshoot session are provided to you. You are always welcome to include your own special props (if any) to personalize your session with us. We don’t provide costumes as part of the package and mostly encourage you to get your best outfits to make your session stand out.

8. What happens if I want to reschedule or cancel my photo-shoot package?

We understand that plans change and emergencies happen, please give us as much notice as possible (minimum 48 hours prior) and we will always try to reschedule your session. For re-shoots required due to an act of God or illness of the photographer you will be contacted to arrange an alternative date, where not possible, our liability shall be limited to a full refund of the deposit.
